Canned opinion openers and scripted routines are dangerous game.

Take this situation for example:

I was out a fellow PUA Brighton instructor at a small club. This wasn't the biggest venue in the world, a fair few sets but one in particular was two absolutely stunning girls.

Throughout the night whenever we saw the girls within a minute or two I’d watch another guy go up and try his luck.

Later on when I saw them I made my way over to chit-chat. Unlike everyones previous attempts, they were instantly hooked. We bantered for a bit before my wing came over to join.

After a bit more group banter, the four of us bounced to another bar and eventually headed back to theirs.

At one point the conversation drifted onto the other guys who tried their luck earlier that evening.

“we get hit on a lot… but seriously, half the time guys are asking for our opinion on just ridiculous things! At least 3 of the guys tonight wanted our opinion! They all say exactly the same thing!”

Opinion openers IN A CLUB?! Madness.

This is exactly why PUA Brighton does not teach any canned routines or provide scripted openers.

A lot of people within the pua community put far too much significance on the opener, to the point where people won't approach because “I don't know how to open them”. You'll often find that after a good interaction you, as well as the girls you're talking to will of completely forgotten how you initiated the interaction anyway. It's no exageration to say when you get good you'll realise you can open with absolutely anything.

How did I initiate the interaction with those lovely girls you ask… “HEY!…. Who are you?”... Simple.

If you have the right vibe and rock solid body language to back it up, openers literally do not have to be any more complicated than that, which is exactly what we cover on our courses.

Out of the tonnes of students who have attended our courses, I can't think of one who by the end of the course hasn't been able to initiate a cracking interaction with any girl we point out.

None of this reading openers online, marching across a bar to a girl with “excuse me, can I get your opinion on something? who lies more…. men or women?” bullshit.

Not only are girls (especially the hot ones you’re trying to game) wising up to pua material, but if you're reading openers and routines on the internet then going out repeating them.... they can be so in-congruent with your personality it can totally come across as scripted.... and if so, instantly you've conveyed beta behaviour.

The amount of times I’ve been out and I’ve seen girls call someone out on their game with “OMG! You’ve read ‘the game’ haven’t you!” or “Do you know neil strauss!?”

Natural game is the only way forward.
